At least some years ago he worked for the company Befo +49 (0)561 49 97 67 41, befo@befo.com. May be someone could ask if he is still working there and if he is reachable via the company?

Hi Gary,

Maybe someone with a bBrowser license can send you a small app that uses bBrowser, so you also have the bBrowser binaries (not the source code of course), so you can do your initial tests with it for porting your application. Obviously you will not have the legal right to distribute yourself the dlls with your applications yet, but that's only until we manage to get in contact with Joachim and then be able to purchase a license.

I think the bBrowser license allows to do that and it will give another sale (or sales) to Joachim later, so I think he will have no problem with that. Unfortunately I cannot do this myself, as I don't have a license for bBrowser. I do have the binaries as I was helping Joachim while porting his code to X#, but I do not have the right to distribute them.

Hi Chris,
it seems that ShareIt has completely removed all references to Befo, the company that selled the bBrowser.
That does not looks good to me, maybe Joachim has changed work or there is something going wrong.

Hi all,

I'm in the process of starting conversion of my largest app from VO to X# (about october/november) where I make large use of bBrowser.
I tried to purchase from ShareIt the X# version of bBrowser but it says that the product doesn't exist anymore.

this will be a real show stopper from me.

People,
I'll contact Joachims company to find out what's happening.
If they no longer wish to support bBrowser, then we'll adopt it, like we have also done for ReportPro

Hi Wolfgang,
Thanks for following up. We would really appreciate it if you could send us the bBrowser binaries so that we can proceed with our conversion. We will not be distributing any converted code anytime soon.
Our email address is pgmaust@pgmaust.com.au.
Thanks,
Gary
