Microsoft has released a preview for Visual Studio 2022this week.

This is a completely revised version of Visual Studio that is now 64 bits.

Unfortunately they have not released this 64 bits version earlier to 3rd party developers, so we have not had the chance to prepare our Visual Studio integration for the 64 bit world yet.

Our installer does detect VS 2022 but our VS integration does not work yet.

In the last weeks there have been some discussions on how to prepare VO code for the migration to X#.

Stefan Hirsch has volunteered to do a session about this on Thursday May 20, 16:00 CEST.

He will demonstrate this with a simple example of code that we all have created. Step by step he will refactor this in VO to prepare for the move to .Net

At the end of the session he will summarize how you can complete this code refactoring using Abstract classes and Interfaces.

The recording of the session has been uploaded to our youtube channel

A public version of X# 2.8a will follow shortly

We have come to an agreement with Sven Ebert to take over support and maintenance for SEUIXP, so you will be able to convert your VO apps that use this library to X#.

A few days from now you will be able to buy an update to SeUIXP for X# from this website and to download a X# ready version of XEUIXP from here too.

Stay tuned !

Some of you have already seen it, but we have crossed the 2000 registered users this week.
Actually this would have happened a lot sooner, but we have pruned some old and unused users from the early days of the website a while ago.

To celebrate this we will be giving a 20% discount on new subscriptions until the end of May.

If you include the discount code "2K" in your order then the discount will be automatically calculated.
