Change font on code blocks used in messages????

Post by FoxProMatt »

Robert-in looking at the HTML for the forum, I see basic HTML table rows and cells. Is there a particular theme template that is used for this forum? Is it edited through a portal type of interface or does it require that you have the source code files on your local machine and then push them up by FTP or something?

I’m pretty familiar with HTML markup and syntax for CSS, so I’d offer to work on the layout to move that side panel that’s hogging up wasted space and move it above the message body so we would have a wider message area. At one point today you had adjusted the layout in this manner, but the Gravatar image of each person was really large. I thought you were pretty close to getting worked out but then it changed it back to the old format.

Is this something you’d like me to work on?

Matt,

With some help from the people on the Kunena forum I managed to scale down the icons and switch to the new layout, as you can see.

Hi Robert,

Just as I wanted to complain about the "HUGE" user box, it suddenly became a lot smaller... Well I think it can reduce even further, but it is a move in the right direction.
Thanks,

The User details box is way too big, not sure if that can be reduced, it takes up half of my screen.

Robert,
Maybe if the User Icon, ID, and all the text are displayed in one line, it might be the best one can get under circumstances.

A lot better!
Could you shrink the "signature" line to "one line only ", as it there is even via mobil access space enough?
Also, there's no need to add extry vertical space behind the content, before you add the "Report to mod", that is... Maybe this button could wander into the header line: Icon, Name, Posts , Report
