Using DTP:IsNone

Post by Jamal »

Record 2 will not update and will show a disabled time picker because it has no matching record in the master dbf.

See attachment.

Next post will contain a video to show it is working when a matching is added externally.

Thanks for your help Jamal, but I must have some other corruptions somewhere in my VO. If you're using my aef, databases and cdx files, then something is wrong at my end. Here is what I get using exactly the same files:

Using DTP:IsNone

Hi Jamal,

i see you´re using SP4b. It seems that with this DTP version a unchecked time checkbox still shows a greyed and not a blank value. In the X# DTP Version it´s possible to show a null_date, but not a empty time, as a blank value. That´s the reason why i´ve posted the changed SetDateTime(), so a empty time behaves the same now - at least in the X# version.

see the attached image

regards
Karl-Heinz

Jeff,

Attached is the modified AEF.

Create a C:dtp2 folder for ease of testing.

Karl,

If the X# works by showing a blank date/time, that is a nice improvement over SP4.

Thanks very much for your time, patience and effort Jamal, it's very greatly appreciated. That seems to have done the trick :)

Thank you again.
