We are considering to drop support for Visual Studio 2017 for the X# 3.0 release that is planned for this autumn.
Please respond if you are still using Visual Studio 2017 and if dropping support for that version is going to cause problems for you.

At Infominds, we use Visual Studio 2019 and 2022. So we're fine with ending the support of VS 2017.

Hello Robert,
As I wrote earlier when you stopped the support of VS 2015: we are using VS2019 and I wouldn't put resources in supporting old VS versions which work more or less the same. VS 2019 doesn't seem to be any different than VS2017 (not better, not worse). And you can have both versions installed.

FTR, i "use" 2017 - but, as i don't relly use it at all - so, for me, drop it.
Given the amount of labour VS eats to be supported, i would suggest supporting at most the last two versions...

Hi Robert,
we currently have VS 2019 on our machines.... but we really don't rely on a specific version.
