SO VS 2015 is 'dying'. I conclude from this that in a few months we can drop development for VS 2015 and continue with VS2017 and VS 2019. Especially after there is no need for Vulcan anymore.
And also many of you prefer the free community version. Now why am I not surprised

The question was about which VS version, not which IDE you use. XIDE is a completely different story...
