Strange - for me it is very fast - thousands of cells in a second - also with VO.

Why does BinRelease not contain Office DLL's?
Hello Gerhard,
Dick
I mean: slow when using the standard Office classes.g.bunzel@domonet.de wrote:Strange - for me it is very fast - thousands of cells in a second - also with VO.

Why does BinRelease not contain Office DLL's?
Hello Robert,
Dick
Thanks for explaining. I often lose time in .Net due to thing like this (and more). I included the DLL's more than a year ago and now when I finalized it for use for the client, and saw it working here, I expect that with supplying all DLL's from the Release directory it should work for my client too. And then it doesn't. Quite frustrating; fortunately this time I solved it quicker than average because I saw the DLL's in the GAC.robert wrote:Unfortunately this topic does now tell you why they are not copied to the output folder.

Dick,
The only real solution for this kind of issues is to install your software on a "virgin" (virtual) machine.
